INDEX_COL

Returns the indexed column name.

Syntax

INDEX_COL ( 'table' , index_id , key_id )

Arguments

'table'

Is the name of the table.

index_id

Is the ID of the index.

key_id

Is the ID of the key.

Return Types

nvarchar (256)

This example produces a list of indexes in the authors table.
