Technologies that frustrated me in previous year 2024 (Nativescript, Microsoft)
1. Microsoft
As usually, Microsoft rank number one in all possible anti-rating as most unstable company with most stupid and negative IT-company in the world. Goal of this company, as usually only spying for user and make maximize damage for any IT-business in whole world. For clear secure internet so negative and stupid company must be banned, I said about that million times in my blog, for example Main internet companies what transformed internet to hell: Microsoft, Google, Payoneer, Paypal, Upwork, Freelancer, Linkedin, Huobi/HTX, Strip, Hetzner.
Ordinary fail of this evil company to make damage to IT-business in whole world is EF CORE what already destroy investment of company that make anything in EF 6. In previous year I made a couple of project to transform EF6 projects to EF Core project Migration ASP.NET to NET Core 8 (including EF6 to EF Core) and I convinced once again that all investment of companies that believed for fucking Microsoft technologies were completely destroyed - all EF code ned to full rewriting in migration process from EF6 to EF Core.
Read cheerfully description of one my last projects I had time to describe Migration ASP.NET to NET Core 8 (including EF6 to EF Core) - all possible parameters and method has deleted from familiar place and hides to most strange and unexpectedly place? Why? This is not an incident this is company's policy - increase programmers efforts and price to support software on Microsoft platform, increase cost of ownership software on Microsoft platform, increase capitalisation and investment to Microsoft software, increase the value of company public shares and value of Microsoft stock, I said about this in my blog million times - Why Microsoft vilified Visual Basic ?.
So, to prevent lose your investment you need to prevent use any proprietary Microsoft technology because after 1-2-3 years Microsoft refuse to support each of own proprietary technology. And because any parameters and methods will be removed from usual place and will hide to most unpredictable place. This is not an incident - this is Microsoft policy.
2. Nativescript
Second fucking company and technology is Nativescript. Fortunately destruction and damage from activity of this company in million times less then negative destructive activity of fucking Microsoft company.
However, damage of investment is significant. I fully lost my project MyVault Android phone application
This fucking team also thinking only about selfish and never provides backward compatibility. Any configurations files and libraries changed without any care of programmers and businessmen who invest own time and money to Nativesctipt.
Once, after some updates, Nativiscript project said me "The AppComponent class is a standalone component, which can not be used in the @NgModule.bootstrap array. Use the bootstrapApplication function for bootstrap instead.(-996009) app.module.ts(23, 1): The 'bootstrap' array is present on this NgModule." and after that I totally lost my project and could not revive this project.
So, my advice the same - to prevent lose your investment you need to prevent using Nativescript because this team change anything in own technology without any doubt and without serving about your workable software and your investment.
